Western Fry Sauce

Recipe makes about ¾ cup

Whatcha Need

  • ½ cup good mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup tomato ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon dill pickle brine (or red wine vinegar)
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ¼ teaspoon smoked paprika

Whatcha Do

  1. In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, ketchup, pickle brine (or vinegar), Worcestershire sauce, and smoked paprika. Whisk until smooth and well blended.
  2. Taste and adjust as needed—more pickle brine for tang, a bit more paprika for depth, or a pinch of salt if desired. This is also time to personalize you sauce with a little cayenne or hot sauce, spicy mustard, barbecue sauce, or even a touch of horseradish.
  3. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving to allow flavors meld. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
