Grapette BBQ Sauce

Whatcha Need:

Wet Ingredients:
3 – 24 oz. bottles of ketchup
Fill all bottles with Grapette soda, swish, and pour in bowl
Add 2 cups plain vinegar

Dry Ingredients:
1 – 4 oz. can of chili powder
1 – 4 oz. can of black pepper
1 – 4 oz. can of garlic salt (not garlic powder)
1/2 cup sugar (more or less to taste)
1 small bottle of Tabasco (1 oz. – 4 oz. to taste)
1 small jar of yellow mustard

Whatcha Do:

  1. Combine wet ingredients in a large pan and heat on high until just ready to boil.
  2. Add dry ingredients. Immediately lower heat and simmer for 30 minutes. Stir often to avoid sticking.
  3. User right away or cool to room temperature and pour into sealable containers and store in refrigerator.
