Chocolate Biscuit Pudding

Recipe makes 6–8 servings

Whatcha Need

  • 8-10 day-old homemade buttermilk biscuits, torn into pieces
  • 3 cups whole milk
  • 3 Tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 large eggs, beaten
  • 1½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Whatcha Do

  1. Preheat oven to 375℉. Butter a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, soak the torn biscuits in the milk for 5 minutes to soften.
  3. Add the cocoa powder, sugar, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract and stir to combine.
  4. Pour mixture into prepared dish and bake 45–50 minutes, or until pudding is set and lightly browned on top.
  5. Let cool slightly. Serve with a drizzle of chocolate syrup.
