Chocolate Biscuit Pudding
Recipe makes 6–8 servings
Whatcha Need
- 8-10 day-old homemade buttermilk biscuits, torn into pieces
- 3 cups whole milk
- 3 Tablespoons cocoa powder
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
- 3 large eggs, beaten
- 1½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Whatcha Do
- Preheat oven to 375℉. Butter a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, soak the torn biscuits in the milk for 5 minutes to soften.
- Add the cocoa powder, sugar, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract and stir to combine.
- Pour mixture into prepared dish and bake 45–50 minutes, or until pudding is set and lightly browned on top.
- Let cool slightly. Serve with a drizzle of chocolate syrup.
