Classic Apple Pie
This Classic Apple Pie is absolutely heavenly. One of the best pies I've ever put in my mouth.
Recipe makes 2 9-inch double crusted pies.
Whatcha Need:
- 48 ounces sliced apples, canned
- 4 cups sugar
- 3 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
- 3 teaspoons all-purpose flour
- 2 ounces butter or margarine, cold
Whatcha Do:

Place apples, sugar, cinnamon, cloves and flour together in large mixing bowl. Stir gently until all ingredients are well blended.

Divide mixture into two 9” uncooked pie shells. Dot apples with butter. Add top crusts. Crimp edges with a wet fork. Cut several vent holes in each top crust.

Bake in preheated oven for 1 hour at 350ºF.
